JUST ADDED: December 9-12 legendary singer DELBERT McCLINTON (see below)

Next MPI Session November 20-23, 2008

Raul Malo

MPI is very pleased to announce a special VIP session with

Grammy-award winning recording artist Raul Malo.

Born in Miami of Cuban parents, Raul is best known as the founder and frontman of Grammy-winning, multi-platinum band the Mavericks. He made his mark in the country music world and then drifted into the Latin and jazz arenas via rock n' roll. As a true fan of all kinds of music, Raul sees only a fine line between rock n' roll, country and salsa rhythms.

"Raul Malo has a voice on par with the best of 'em: Sinatra, George Jones and Orbison," says Rolling Stone.

"Force of nature Raul Malo wraps his husky vocals around everything like he owns the copyright on heartbreak," says Entertainment Weekly.

Tracking sessions will take place in Studio "A" at the Sound Emporium in Nashville. Don't miss this very special insider's peek at the record producing process at it's best. Limited to only 10 students.  Tuition for our "A" Room" session on Nov. 20-23 with artist Raul Malo is $1199.00

Coming to MPI December 9-12, 2008

Grammy Award-winning Contemporary Blues Legend

DELBERT McCLINTON

Join Texas roots music master Delbert McClinton as he records new songs in Nashville's famed Sound Emporium Studio "A."

"Smoking, jumping big-band blues and gospel-rooted '60s soul honed to a razor sharp edge in the Texas juke joints. Jalapeno-hot!"
-- Los Angeles Times

"Breathtaking, hardcore roadhouse rhythm & blues."
--Rolling Stone

Delbert McClinton proudly defies classifications. His music blends his Texas roots with roadhouse rock, juke-joint blues, Memphis soul and country. During his entire recording career, record labels have consistently tried to pigeonhole Delbert's music. But if you ask the critics about Delbert's dynamic vocals and harmonica style, you'll hear descriptions ranging from 'honky-tonk,' 'blue-eyed soul,' and 'Texas stomp' to 'country rock' and 'blues.' Delbert's music rebels against traditional categorization. Ask Delbert what kind of music he plays and he'll say, "Fun music."

Limited to only 10 students.  Tuition for our "A" Room" session in Nashville, TN on Dec. 9-12 with artist Delbert McClinton is $1199.00.  Click here to register.
